Training Tools, Techniques, Treats and Toys

All training tools are optional and should be used with care and caution not to cause pain or negative responses in the dog. Keep in mind that these are training TOOLS and should be used according to the situation and the temperament of the dog. Not all tools work for all dogs. These are also only used until the dog has the understanding of the exercise you are trying to achieve. It is only TEMPORARY!

Your ability to choose the appropriate tool for the situation, making sure that it is fitted properly and used correctly can bridge the gap between you and your dog to assist the learning process.

The following are a few of the more common tools and how and when they are appropriate to help with the training of your dog.
