All of the basic commands will be covered as well as Problem Solving Techniques. In addition to socialization and obedience, you will learn how to correct common puppy problems... ALL IN A SAFE, FUN AND POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT! C.L.A.S.S. - Canine Life And Social SkillsWe are introducing a new training program called C.L.A.S.S. Canine Life And Social Skills. This is a 4 week program that uses positive reinforcement methods to help your dog navigate the outside world successfully. Basic Obedience is a pre-requisite and there will be the option for an Examination at the end for your K9 BA certificate. Starting date is February 27, 2012 and C.L.A.S.S. is limited to 6 dogs with owners. Sometimes that is all that is needed to start you on your way to having a more balanced dog. Young puppies can benefit by having a one hour consultation. I can address potential problems before they arise and prepare you and your pup for training classes. Dogs younger than 12 weeks old cannot attend classes because they are not old enough to have the Bordatella (Kennel Cough) vaccine.
Private In-Home or On Site Training SessionsNot all problems are best addressed in a group class setting. For those requiring problem solving or obedience training, in-home or on site sessions can be arranged at a time to best suit your needs. There is a minimum booking of four sessions to establish a good foundation for your success.
And Yes.....You CAN Teach An Old Dog New Tricks!Rally Obedience ClassWant something FUN to do with your dog? Rally O is all about FUN! It consists of 20 stations set in a course with written directions for each station's activity. It is similar to a car rally in that you are completing the instructions at one station to move on to the next one. All dogs, no matter what breed, age or abilities may participate. This is a six week course where we cover all of the directions for the Novice Level.
