RELEASE THE HOUNDS!

Hounds are bred to work independently of humans. This can make the motivation of these dogs a little more difficult. Think of them as a nose on four legs. The nose takes over and they do not possess the desire to please like some of the other groups. These dogs will get bored quickly so the rewards need to be very valuable and the highlight of his day.

Afghan Hound, Basenji, Basset Hound, Beagle, Black and Tan Coonhound, Bloodhound, Borzoi, Dachshund, Foxhound, (American, English), Greyhound, Harrier, Ibizan Hound, Irish Wolfhound, Norwegian Elkhound, Otterhound, Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, Pharaoh Hound, Plott, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Saluki, Scottish Deerhound, and Whippet are all part of this group.
